the decorator! which makes your dog a thief if your dog had just asked, the decorater would have made a sandwhich for him. or it could be a case of, possession is nine tenths of the paw... sorry about the lame joke.

The dog is a resident of the household. Its his territory which means he has certain rights over guests. If he wants a sandwich he will get his sandwich no matter what..even if he is rude about it..its still his property.

However, the decorater was a guest which would mean that the host would be expected to put their needs first. You would be expected to provide food, drink and entertainment without the guest so much as lifting a finger.

In my opinion, the dog did have the legal rights even know he may have upset someone along the way. He didnt provide drink or food for the guest but at least he tried the entertainment skill!

the dog lives in the house so he has more right of whats in the house than a stranger.

the decorater shouldnt have been pinching food in the first place so he could have been steeling if it wasnt for you good old dog.

If the decorator had permission to make the sandwich, it was his (the decorators) The dog shouldn't be jumping up to snatch food, that's just bad manners.
