Whose dog likes to eat strange foods for dogs like cheese and salad And the dog dosent like MEAT2007-11-25 2:55:16

My 4-year-old maltese is super strange. He doesn't like meat, except some chicken. He eats his dog food, but he dosent love it. He enjoys eating chese, salad, watermelon and popcicles. Does anybody else's dog like this? Or is my dog just weird?

even hot stuff like cayenne peppers and chile powder they even like tobasco sauce!

but they also LOVE meat. a dog that doesnt like meat is just plain out weird!

Ya my dog does that , thats why she aint gaining on weight! She will eat her dog food sometimes but she loves to eat cookies and cheese , watermelon, apples, pineapples, some chicken not all, she love corn and apple jacks lol

I don't think your dog is weird. My dog loves raw & cooked chicken, cheese (any kind - cheddar, american, grated parmeasan, etc. & esp. cottage cheese), & veggies (cooked asparagus, carrots, cabbage, green beans). Of course, she is quite the "foodie". Both my dogs loved their special dinner tonight of cooked chicken, rice, carrots & asparagus mixed w/Innova EVO feeble tonight! I never cooked them a meal until the dog food recall!

I have one oddball that acts like I am trying to poison her if I offer her any raw meat or meaty bones, so when the rest of the gang gets their bones to gnaw on she gets a dehyrdrated slice of sweet potato as her chew treat
