It's just the way they are. Kind of like our noses being dry. I've heard people say that when a dog's nose gets dry, it means it's sick or just not feeling well. My 3 year old miniature dachshund has been with me since she was 4 months and not once has her nose been wet. I guess it's just normal for her. Good luck on you dogs noses quest! LOL

Because of their body temperature and the flow of tears through the ducts in their noses.
It doesn't mean they're healthy and if they have a warm nose it doesn't mean they're sick. Humidity can even make a dog's nose warm.
