Why are there little white worms in my puppys stool2007-11-25 2:55:44

These seem to be "tapeworms", though a Vet is the person to give you 100% verification of that. any basic "worm" medicine will clear it up, and would usually be given to you by a Vet.

Its not too serious, but your dogs stomach will be feeling it.

Take a sample to the vet and have them identify the type of worm that you puppy has. Many general de-worming products don't work on specific types. The vet can identify the type and get you the medication that will best rid your puppy of the discomfort he must be feeling. By the way, if they are crawling out of his butt, he is really infested.

Your puppy has worms and you need to worm him or he will die. The worms will kill him. Either take him to the vet and let them treat it or go by dog wormer.

Yes liquid wormer for dogs will work. They sell at most any place. It is really no big deal puppies are born with worms and the breeder is supposed to de worm them before you get them but sometimes you still have to do it yourself. They will also get these worms from fleas so if the puppy has fleas you need to treat that too. You just buy the wormer and give it to them and before you know it they will be all gone. This is very normal and its nothing most vets havent seen. I have had this same problem with my puppys before and just a simple wormer will solve the problem.
