Why are vacuums so stinky i have changed the bag every time i use2007-11-25 2:55:44

every time i use the vaccume it smells like vommit,I only have one 10x12 rug the rest is w-w wood!

I was my floor often,and I dont understand this wierd situation

I have tried to not use rug freshner because my sister said it was from that

i have cleaned the entire vaccume,and sprayed it with enzyme stuff,like febreeze that kills the bacteria and the source,at cell level..still stinky as all ..

I have a boxer dog and a bichon...the boxer gets bathed often...as does the bichon,but the boxer has allergyes

Clean your vacuum bag, put in a brand new one.. Sprinkle baking soda all over the whole carpet and leave it for a few hours.. It's going to pull the smell out of the carpet.. Vacuum as usual and the vacuum and the carpet will both smell fresh and clean..

I DON'T KNOW WHY IT IS SO STINKY BUT KEEP I MIND THAT THE AIR THAT IS PULLING THE DIRT INTO THE BAS HAS TO GO SOMEWHERE SO TRY PUTTING DRYER SHEETS IN THE OUTSIDE BAG OF THE VACUUM WHEN YOU CHANGE THE PAPER BAG. YOU CAN ALSO SLIDE A FEW INSIDE THE PAPER BAG BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE VACUUM.

You can also buy some scented beeds that go into the vacuum bag it self. That way anything left in the bag don't get stinky. I pitched my old vacuum that had a bag just for that reason. Every time I turned it on it smelled like gym socks!
