Why do Some breeders
When people are buying puppies, do they read their health guarantee.. IF they get one.. I have noticed that these seem to be the norm.. Insisting that the dog with the health problem needs to be returned in order to get a replacement.
Do you know that this is a scam to get out of giving you a replacement puppy? Breeders know that you don't want to give this dog back.. They know that you love the dog and are afraid that it will be put to sleep..
Do you read the guarantee and realize that it actually says ' obviously if you love your current dog, hahahaha no replacement for you '
**Buyer must returning said dog at this time and will receive a replacement puppy of same value only, from Seller's next available litter.
**If the Dog develops any inheritable/genetic defect within twelve (12) months from the date of birth, BUYER must return the Dog to SELLER for a replacement puppy of equal quality, selected by SELLER, if and when SELLER has the next litter of puppies.

Answers:Returning the dog has been a normal practice for a long time, and a lot of breeders do it for no other reason than thinking it is what they are suppose to do.
Quite frankly, I don't want the dog back. But I do owe that dog a responsibility. So returning the dog is up to the dog owner, not me. My one requirement is that if they want to keep the dog and get a replacement as well that the dog be neutered so that it is permanently removed from the gene pool.
