Why do dogs go crazy and lick everyhing
last night my dog when crazy and started licking the floor desperately. It looked like her tongue was itching and she was trying to scratch it because she was using the rough carpet to scrat it. She was going wild doing this.
What is wrong because this is the second time this happens???
Answers:You can stop this behavoir by taking possession of the spot she is licking. Push her away from it, stand over the spot, stand on the spot, have her lie down away from the spot. Suddenly for seemingly no reason dogs can turn obsessive about objects.
The only thing that might be wrong is boredom, and your dog found something to do & it got your attention.

dogs lick everything for the same reason you touch everything. they learn from it and explore, there was probably a strange smell on the carpet
perhaps the dog has an allergy to something that triggers this, if it is not the usual licking the dog normally does i would ask your vet
Well, maybe your dog is doing this because she is hungry. If your feeding her the same food over and over again, change that habit. It's like eating pizza every single day.
