Why do dogs howl at the moon
Why do dogs howl at the moon2007-11-25 2:55:18
Something I've wondered. Why does the moon hold such obvious sway over them?
Answers:They don't.Howling is a way of putting a boundrie at your territory and at the same time confirms the bound of the pack.
In our pet dogs, howling usually means that they are either howling because another dog in the neighbourhood is howling, or they are howling because they want to come in.
My dog howles when he here's a siren...
I'm not sure, but I bet if you show up at a bonfire you could ask a few of the guys why they do it!
I thought it was wolves that howled at the moon... not dogs!
Sorry, I have had many dogs and I have never seen one do that!!!
