Why do dogs prefer to eat cat food and why dont they make fish flavored food for dogs2007-11-25 2:55:21

my 3 1/2 mo old chihuahua as well as my 10 year old german shepard will always go to the cat food before going to their own bowls even if the cat food is in another room

my chihuahua like cat food too, and i buy him top of the line food, and the cat the cheap stuff-- because its not really our cat... its an out side one

Good Question. I think fish would be more healthier for a dog than horse meat, I think it's because the American Beef industry gives all its meat scraps from the giant Meat Processing facilities to Dog Food companies. They have deals set up.

Cat food is high in protein and it tastes good to them. Fish flavor is more costly than the others.
