because they are too imcompetent to train them properly.

if you train your dog, it wont destroy the house or use it as a toilet.

I love my pit bull, she loves me, but she get sepration anxiety.

She doesn't use the bathroom inside, but if I am gone I will find my house all but destroyed.

That is the number one reason people crate train.

I crate train for safety and peace of mind. when travelling my dogs are in a crate so if I crash or are crashed into my dogs have more of a chance of living. Also at night my dogs go to their beds and have a good nights sleep so there is no missbehaving during the night.

Crate training IS proper training. I haven't met a puppy who hates his crate, they seem to love it. It keeps them secure and happy when their owner is not around.

a lot of people don't know how to train a puppy, some think either dog is properly trained but its really not...uneducated people, all we can do is do our best to educate them on what we know, and do our best to educate ourselves because even though we may know alittle more than them we still don't know it all

It gives your dog a sanctuary even if there is no door on the crate.

It also keeps them from getting into trouble if you are not there.
