Because due to the dogs being on board, they are trying to drive extra safely, so they want to alert people to that fact so they are not dangerously tailgated for going slow or being cautious.

No dear because these dogs cost alot of money.Some folks invest hundreds of thousands in these dogs and in return they make crazy money.By these dogs being of this standard the puppies are also sold for a nice chunk of change.Try not to ever hit one they will get full value and for puppies that couldve been born.

I think its because they want to alert the public that they have dogs inside their cars, plus the "show" part it could be so the public is aware that if you happen to do something to that dog you will end up in court paying thousands of dollars for that dog etc. Those dogs are worth at least from 2,000 $ and up depending on how many shows they have won, their pedigrees etc etc soooo you might just as well be very cautious, you dont want to end up in court paying for a priceless pooch
