Why do people question if im a reputable mimi foxy breeder2007-11-25 2:55:57

i am a reputable mini foxy breeder... my 2 dogs are of pedigree bloodlines and are both registed with the MFAA (mimiature foxterrier association of australia)... they are both show champions the male took first place 3 times and is a grand champion once... the female is a grand champion twice over...and they are microchipped , vaccinated and have tests every year at the vets to trace any genetic abnormalities, hip displaysia, etc... the female and male are always at the vets before and after breeding to ensure optimum health, the female has vet checks, ultrasounds and xrays during gestation to ensure all puppies are healthy and have no skeletal deformities, and to ensure all placentas are passed at birth etc... the mother and puppies are checked at the vets 24 hrs after birth as a health check for hernias, cleft pallets and to make sure the mothers well and fit, they are bred in our kennels and the puppies all get vaccinated, wormed and vetchecked up to 8 weeks b4 they go to new homes!

Thank you for contributing to the pet over-population problem. Millions of animals die every year because ignorant people think they are getting a better dog by paying through the nose to go through a "breeder" instead of adopting from a shelter. Just because you take good care of your pups by taking them to the vet regularly doesn't mean that you are not putting an incredible amount of stress on your female by allowing her to have littlers frequently. Get your dogs spayed and neutered.

Because the AKC does not recognize the breed - mini's are just runts bred to runts. Designer dogs and usually of inferior health.
