I dont hate cats. I actually like them too. I would rather have a full grown lazy cat. I dont think I have the energy for a kitten. I sew and I would worry the cat would eat a thread and get hurt. I had cats when I was younger and loved them. I would take a cat now if my boyfriend would let us.

That's assuming that dog people hate cats.. I am allergic so can't have cats, but TONS of people w/ dogs also have cats.. Why do you hate dogs??

I know what you mean! I love cats. I love cats and dogs but cats are way easier to take care of. They clean themselves, they go to the bathroom in one place, and love to climb all over you!

Because they attach your feet at night you can be petting them and they randomly bit or scratch you, they miss the litter box and male cat urine is strong smelling,(my dogs are very trainned no accidents only two as a puppy) But i had a cat when I was little and i dressed it up in babycloths, carried it around in my stroller he followed me around, in short acted like a dog instead of a cat so he was my buddy, besides that stuff i like cats alittle. kindof-- AND even though cats can be nastier than dogs to an apartment, their allowed--totally crappy!double standards!

I love dogs ... but i love all animals.my favorite are chickens, I had quite a few growing up...and rabbits...and geese...and turkeys...and pheasants...and goats...and ponies...and fish...and turtles...and quail...and hamsters...and ducks...and cats and dogs.. I always seemed to love my dog more than my cat but right now I have both and I love my cat more than my dog

Stop assuming things.

Dogs are much more exciting and playful that cats. I want an animal that I can take with me and listen to commands. Cats are more independent and like to sit on the windowsill, and that's just not what I want. Plus, my dog doesn't like cats.
