Every time my 4 month old puppy gets on a bed (hers or ours) she digs like she was outside or something. She dosn't go to the bathroom but just wants to dig.
Answers:she is nesting! trying to get comfy get the right spot.

She is fluffing up her nest! Watch her, cause they can get pretty freaky and fall right off the bed!
Dogs do this in the wild to trample down vegetation and make a softer sleeping area. My dog gets my whole bed comforter in a pile and then lays on it! It cracks me up until I have to remake my bed! Needless to say, domesticated dogs have retained this instinct even though most of them have nice soft beds to sleep on.
She's just getting comfy and ready for bed. My pup is 9 years old and still does it
my 12 year old dog does the same thing, i call it scoofing, its not a word but that is what i call it when she does that. I think she does it because she feels good, she also does it after she has gotten a bath, she just goes CRAZY! she acts like a puppy but she isn't, i got her her own blanket to scoof on and she loves it!, your puppy is probably doing that because she just feels good, go ahead and let her do it, just make sure you keep her toenails trimmed so she doesn't tear up your blankets.

in nature puppy, dogs, hogs and other animals use to clear a spot where they will use to lay there body- to sleep or just lay down, maybe it is just an instinct for your pet to show it digging act- in your blanket
it's call nesting dogs will do that to find the perfect spot to lye down in
