I dont knwo but if she isnt feeding it u need to go get some Puppy supplement from yoru vets office and hand feed it every couple hours or it will die,

that usually means that there is something wrong w/ that pup (maybe internaly or mentally) or it just might be the weakest. I certainly hope that you are bottle feeding it any way. I have bottle fed many pups and alot of them turn out just fine. good luck!!

maybe it is the runt. maybe it is sickly. the mom will know before you. take the puppy to a vet. you may have to bottle feed for a while

It could be the runt. It could be weak and sick. I would encourage the mom to pay attention to it. If it doesnt work, I would start bottle feeding right away. Although the puppy needs the colostrum from its mom to get the antibodies, they can still do just fine being bottle fed. Th reason they do this is because they want to pay attention to the healthy ones. It would be a waste of her milk if the puppy didnt make it. Unfortunately it is survival of the fittest. You need to intervene now! Hope it all goes well!
