She is just a little dog and these little dogs often have extra tissue at the backs of their throats that make them sound like they're snoring or have congestion. It's a big word-- brachycephalic syndrome-- and it just means that they have too much stuff in that small area at the back of their throats. An elongated soft palate being the major cause. It's pretty common. and in really bad cases requires surgery. But most are fine without it.

Does she breath like that all of the time??? You should probably call the vet and see what they want you to do. They will most likely want to see her to make sure that she doesn't have a upper respiratory infection. In that case she would be given antibiotics to make the infection go away and she should feel better in a week or so.Good Luck

my maltese does the same thing. she does it for attention, when noones looking at her or if we are eating and not sharing withher she puts on her little "act" when u give her food she magically stops. shes a little faker. i wouldnt worry im sure ur dog is doing the same thing.

Take her the vet she may have pneumonia.Dogs can and do get him checked...
