Why dose my dog have a big ball of pus on the side of her neck and face2007-11-25 2:56:17
the fur is coming of and its yellow is a bid ball some pus is coming out it looks nasty
Answers:could be a few different things but I know that when I discovered a ball of pus on my cat, after closer examination, I found that she had been shot with a pellet gun. I popped the nasty ball and it almost sort of exploded this stinky crap all over the place. That is when I found the pellet. I cleaned it up a couple of times and within a week she got all better. (Until about 6 weeks later she got hit by a car, that is)
go get it checked, it could be an infection of maybe even a tumor
Massive infection. This will not clear up on it's own and needs to be treated by a vet.
It might have the Mange.. TAKE IT TO THE VET QUICK!!
visit the vet
ITS TIME TO PUT HIM/HER DOWN AS HARD AS IT IS IT IS BEST
im no scientist, but i think its about time to go to a vet.
Could be a snake bite
Uh...u need to get that dog to the vet...NOW. That means it has an infection of some kind (puss always means infection...so does yellow) and if you don't do something about it then the dog could get very sick or pissibly even die.
Take the poor thing to a vet immediately and quit consulting a Q&A site for such silliness. Think about your dog for a minute. If you are reading this and have not taken you dog to seek medical attention than you need to relenquish ownership.
I don't know, but you better get her to the VETS!
Sounds like an abscess. If you care about this animal at all why not take it to a professional vet to have your pet examined?
Infection. Probably from an animal bite. Go to the vet NOW.
dogs get zits too.
Get her into the vet ASAP, whatever it is, it doesn't sound good. Pus is a sign of infection, maybe she has a mass of some kind that needs to be removed. Definitely get it looked at.
she has an infection. dogs get them from cuts or bites. It needs to see a vet.
Take your dog to the vet as soon as you can, it is sounds to me that she has an abcess, this is basically when the wound fills with puss, this ussually occurs when a punture wound such as a bite becomes infected because the wound can't properly drain. The vet will drain and clean the abcess by opening the wound to allow it to drain and properly heal.
Pus equals infection. Take your dog to the vet ASAP, not doing so would be considered animal neglect.
You should take her to a vet immediatekly! My dog got it because she bit a possum! which was infected with rabies or something!...you should take her to the vet ASAP!
Your dog probably got cut or scratched. My cat used to always get into fights with other cats and would have pretty much what you are describing. Just clean it with some soap and water and apply some Neosporin. If you are still concerned call your vet. But it shouldn't be anything serious.
