This happened to our dog. The seizures were few and far between at first, sometimes with loose bowel and bladder, sometimes without. They got worse and he was eventually diagnosed as epileptic and has to take half a tablet twice a day for the rest of his life.

You should visit your vet and get your dog on medication.

seizures usually cause bladder and fecal incontinence if they are grand mal. i hope that you are treating your dog for seizures/epilepsy

Our cat started having fits when he turned 13yrs old and it was horrible to see.During a fit he would lose control over his bladder and bowels it's a common side effect of fits.Unfortunatly before we could even book our cat into the vets,he died during a fit when he was outside,we found him on our driveway the next day.It's very important you get your dog to the vets if you haven't already.

Epileptic fits cause a loss of control of muscles throughout the body.

In some epileptics(animals and human) this includes the muscles controlling the bowels and bladder.

It's not your dogs fault-she can't control it.I hope you have her on an anti-epileptic medication from your vet?
