Why has my dog got eyes like a 11 year old2007-11-25 2:56:18

i have 2 cockers and 1 has nice eyes and the other has gungy and wet eyes and she is only 8 months.

what is wrong and what shell i do?

HI! If your seeing a discharge that is not normal from her eyes then it could be a eye infection or clogged tear ducts. You'll need to get her into the vets and have them determine which if any it is.

She could have an eye infection (or if not she'll probably end up with one if her eyes are like this).

No one on here can tell you what the problem is, we haven't SEEN the dog! Go to the vets, it may well be fixable just with eye drops - but depending on what it is, if you leave it it may be harder, and therefore more expensive to fix.

first off.. like you have heard.. take her to the vets office.. to make sure that no infection is forming.. as long as there isnt infection it is most likely a normal discharge that is just bountyfull. you will probally just have to clean them often.. which isnt such a hassle.. i hope shes ok!!

Have you taken her to the vet? That would be my first step. Ask the doctor.
