my dog is 9 months and hasnt been on but my other dog the same age has they are both lovelycockers english golden

all females are diffrent, if you female is extra small that sometimes delays the heat cycle. She rmay have already had a heat but it was so minor you didnt notice it. Not all dogs bleed alot or act strangely when in heat. If you are terriblly worried about it, take her for a check up and have a x-ray done to see if she is a fertile female or that she doesnt have any types of uterine infections that may cause her not to go into heat. Otherwise dont worry about it, count your blessing and if your not breeding her, spay her and reduce her chances of getting infections or unwanted mistake puppies.

In you other question you said she was 10 months old. Anyway some dogs come into heat differently than others some come into heat every six months like clock work..then there is some that only comes in heat once a year. Depends on the dog. You might have missed the first heat ..since you change the age of the dog .so in that case just watch her in two to three months to see if she is coming into heat. You need to wait until she is two years old to breed her. I really think, not to sound mean, you should get your dog spayed.
