Why is my Chihuahua is over 15 pounds2007-11-25 2:56:23

Could it be possible he is a mix?

He looks pure Chihuahua but, large not fat.

I can't imagine this dog at 6 pounds.

He doesn't eat that much.

Any Ideas?

Any Chihuahua experts out there?

i'm not an expert, but ur chihuahua might be a mix, but you can never really tell how big your pet will get. i have a t-cup pomerainan and most of them get 5-7pounds, but she's about 9-10 pounds. he's prolly ok, all that matters is that you love your little furry freind.

I have a JRT/CHI mix and he weighs about 15 pounds now.He looks JRT,but he likes to hide his food like my chihuahua did.He is such a delight,no matter what he is mixed with.enjoy him..
