for one dogs will usually eat til they puke if you let them. they tend to be piggy about food. two it could be worms. three it could be pregnant. hard to tell. call the vet.

Dogs are always hungry. One thing though...if you give him good quality dog food then he will eat less. That crap dog food is like feeding them fast food burgers all the time. You have to give your dog portions and feed him on a regular time schedule.

Cause you aren't feeding a good quality dogfood.. Buy the good stuff and he'll get the nutrition that he needs and he will finally be full and happy..

Edit : Most dogs that are fed a good quality food, do not eat til they puke.. I don't have a single dog that would tear into a bag of food and lay there and eat til it was gone.. Uncivilized!

Yeah some breeds will, but generally a well fed dog will not eat like a piggy.

Anyhow, A dog eats for nutrition.. They don't eat like people do, snacking and binging, eating cause they are sad, lonely or bored.. They eat to fulfill a nutritional need. If your dog is hungry all the time, and he has no worms or parasites, no health problems, then he isn't getting the nutrition he needs from the food that you are feeding him.

He's not always hungry! All dogs would eat until they died. I've never met a full-grown dog that WON'T eat all the food you give him/her.
