it's getting warm outside so your dog might be shedding his winter coat. is this the first year that you've had him? If you've had him for several years and this has never happened you may want to contact your vet.

It depends on how thick there hair is. As long as there is hair left on the dog I wouldnt worry too much. My dog has short hair and there is allot more than usually in our house. My mum and dads dog always sheds in the summer he always needs a good brush. I recommend giving the dog a good brush to help it cool down quicker.

its called moulting and happens twice a year go and buy a suitable brush wont stop it but will tend to mimimise mess

My dogs are exactly the same. It must be the warm weather. Try not to worry too much. I'm sure its not serious.

Any-one with a dog that Moults will be having the same problem! It's losing it's winter coat ready for summer! It might help to brush it daily or if it's a long haired breed twice a day. I look after a white Pomeranian and she's terrible at the moment too.

It might be allergies. My sister's dog has this problem. Is it scratching alot?
