Why is my dogs pee foamy
Why is my dogs pee foamy2007-11-25 2:56:28
So, when we got home from work today we noticed our dog had peed in the house (which he has not done since January).
The pee was foamy which was weird.
He is seven months old and not neutered.
I am worried about him. Could he be sick? Anyone have any ideas why a dog would start peeing in the house again.
He was alone for less time today than usual.
Answers:When human urine is foamy, it means it contains too much protein, which indicates a kidney problem. Just in case this is true for dogs as well, why not call your vet and ask if you should be concerned?
Are you sure he didn't throw up??
Or maybe you should stop letting him have so much beer
How long was your dog left in the house? That might answer why he went in the house. Your dog should also get nuetered. Foamy pee isn't a big problem. He isn't sick.
I have seen foamy, biley vomit that resembles foamy pee, but I have never actually seen foamy pee. So if you are sure it is in fact pee, I would consult a vet.
Did you happed to feed him dishsoap agian??? That was stupid
His bladder was very full and he was releasing very fast . theres nothing wrong with your dog let him go more often and you'll see it'll stream normal. It's not really foam it's just warm pee hiting a cooler temp that causes bubbles when released fast.
