Why is my pit bull so aggressive

Just a note: Animal aggression is not the same thing as people aggression. APBTs are the only breed to be bred to be specifically not people aggressive, but you'll always need to keep a close eye and a tight leash on him when there are other animals present.
Edited: my2girls. a pit bull being white in color has nothing to do with inbreeding. A lot of the gamebred lines of APBTs have inbreeding in them and they are considered by real canine experts to be the most people friendly breed in existance. Ask your vet what dog he would rather work on: a gamebred APBT struck by a car or a (insert any other breed here) struck by a car. The answer may suprise you.
I don't believe that the bird has anything to do with how the dog behaves on his walks, but YOU do! The dog feels insecure, and it does not see you as his pack leader, quite possibly because you are encouraging him to be aggressive. You might not even do this intentionally, but if you yell and pull back on him every time he shows interest in some other animal, you're putting the notion into his head that the other animal is a threat and a challenge, and you're not comfortable with it around, and want it gone. By appearing weak, you are basically telling him, "OK, time for YOU to take over now and handle this!" The dog needs obedience training, first of all. otherwise he is in control, not you. MANY dogs will behave this way on walks when they aren't sure who is the leader and who is the "dog", so to speak, not just Pit Bulls, so it has nothing to do with all that garbage about them being "mean" and "bred only to fight and kill", which I will guarantee does NOT come from anyone who actually has owned or bred American Pit Bull Terriers, or otherwise is well-experienced with them, but from people who believe way too much of what the news media force-feeds them and the Animal Rights groups(who want to eventually ban ALL animal ownership, period)use to promote their agenda.
shout at him tell him NO!You have got a nasty breed of dog and its your responsibility to shoe him who rules the roost.
