Why is that some people when pets die they act normal and for people like me who are close to the ca
No two people grief or handle death in the same way. You obviously have a very kind and loving heart. I know that this is going to be easy for me tell you, but I know it's not easy to do, but you have to try and remember the good times and the happy memories you shared with your dog. Liberty will live forever in your heart.
I'm adding a few links to several web sites that may help you in your grieving process, as well a couple of links where you can place a free memorial for your dog and hope that they will give you some comfort during this difficult time.
Again, I'm really sorry and I'm sending my sincere condolences.
Rest in Peace Sweet Liberty.
get ready for some heckeling
Its just the way people are. Everyone is different, and everyone handles things differently.
I think this site may help you with the loss of your pet, http://www.rainbowbridge.com
Sorry for your loss.
Just like people react differently when a person dies. So please don't hold it against them.
Everyone mourns in a different way at a different time. When my dog died - she was very old so we had her for years. My parents were also upset and cried too - but not as much in front of us. One of my parents knew that she was declining and dealt with it along the way and the other was very hurt by it.
I am just like you. Most people I know don't give two craps about animals...I love them to the bottom of my heart and always spend a week or two mourning over a family member loss, pet or not.
