Why is that some people when pets die they act normal and for people like me who are close to the ca2007-11-25 2:56:49

I have had many pets that have died and I felt upset and sad that I no longer had them. One suggestion might be to go out and get another pet you can love just as much. I like to believe that The Almighty God will allow us to see our pets in eternity. Hope you feel better soon.

Awe. I am sorry about the loss of your pet. I suppose its just differences in people. I agree thou, they do become a part of the family, bond to your heart. I have a 3 lb. chi and she is like my third child to a degree in some sense.

Allow yourself to grieve over your loss, give yourself some time to heal. In time your memories will be happy ones instead of sad. Good Luck

i'm so sorry for your loss. last month i had to "put down" my sweet angel "max" he was a yorkie, 15 yrs. old. there isn't a day i don't think about him and still feel a tremendous void in my life. he was my "baby". i cried and cried and cried some more. i just finished a book which is very comforting and healing. the title is ANGEL DOGS, by Allen & Linda Anderson. after reading this book, i KNOW that my max will always be in my heart and he will always be with me. although not physically, definitely spiritually. my heart goes out to you. i know the pain you are feeling. and remember, time does heal.

some people don,t get as atattached as others.it probaly bothers the others too but they just have differant ways of showing it as you.i,m am truely sorry for your lose and my heart goes out to you

I know how you feel...My dog died today. Sissy was 15 years old and I am very upset about it. We had her for 12 of the 15 years and she had a good life. My other dog is confused and keeps looking for her...maybe your parents feel bad but they don't want to upset you more...

There is no reason to be ashamed griefing over an animal.
