You want your dog to protect his territory he must have a territory he wants to protect and that recognizes as his and more importantly Yours and the packs.

By sharing the comforts of your territory with your canine, within reason, you will thereby prove your ability to provide for the pack. Being able to do so solidifies your Dominance position.

Using the additional activities of directing your canine to his appropriate location on a raised platform bed or dog sofa and controlling him for monthly bathing and weekly regular checks of ears, nails, anal and genital areas, muzzle and teeth will continue to reinforce a bond between you and your canine with your Dominance being the forefront.
