He isn't nterested in going for his walk doesn't want to jump up into his favorite chair just seems down nor is he intersted in his favorite treats. I did change his food from a store brand because he wouldn't eat it anymore to kibble an bits

Dachshunds often have seizures. The first time my dog had one. I thought she was dying. She was trembling and her legs kept twitching. For a while, before and after the seizure, she seemed lazy. She didn't want to do anything. Not eat or drink. She didn't want to go outside or play. Also, she looked at me so sad like.

Sounds sick-get him to the vet. Kibbles and bits is horrible and could be making him feel sick.
Did you change his diet BEFORE the leg twitching started? Getting bloated and having indigestion can cause what you are describing. If you have been watching this for more than 24 hours, you need to call your vet and get him in to check for a blockage or other injury.
Get thye vet to xray the spine - our one started like that, within a week she was draggin her hind legs there was a growth on her spine, after surgery she was fine.
with all these other symptoms.. why would you think the problem is simply gas?
sounds like he might have a nerve/spinal problem developing - these dogs are notorious for it - he needs to go to a VET.

Not interested in anything, twitching legs I'd say he needs to see a vet!
It sounds more seriously please take him to the vet. It can also be the food making him sick - or just change back to what he was eating before kibble an bits
