You need to find a trainer who works with aggressive dogs, especially if he has that bad of a food aggression.

Here's the thing, people feed their dog, and the dog growls so they say ' don't bother the dog while he is eating ' Then they close the door while the dog is eating and if someone gets bit, they just blame it on them bugging the dog while he is eating..

When puppies are young, IF they show aggression around food, that is the time to absolutely put a stop to it.

Rather than backing off when they show their teeth, show them that YOU control the food and that just plain isn't going to cut it..

He isn't aggressive because he loves his food or loves to eat, it's something that you have allowed and encouraged, and he won.. Now he gets to eat in peace.

If you are going to back off when he growls, he is going to growl no matter what you feed him. Crappy Science Diet, or a quality dog food or a raw diet.. He doesn't want to be bugged and has learned to get rid of everyone when he eats.

Get him more exercise right off the bat, and while you are doing this, start to enforce the fact that you control the walks and everything else in his life.
