a) Get him neutered!!!
b) Train him either in basic obedience or hire a professional trainer
c) Spend a lot of time playing with him in your backyard
d) Take him out for 2 walks per day - one for 30-45 minutes and the other for an hour.
Those obedient dogs that hardly get distracted and always stay by their owners have been trained properly and thoroughly thanks to their dedicated owners. YOU need to TRAIN him to be like that. Don't you wish owning a puppy was easy and everything just came naturally? It won't. Training a pup is hard and takes a long time. Dogs don't just automatically learn to be obedient, they need your help to train them.
