nope... it won't stop the humping. think of this; if you had that type of surgery, it wouldn't stop you, would it?? so, why should it stop a dog or any other animal. the dog may not have as much urge as what there once was, but to stop, no.

Not really, as u said it is a dominance thing not only sexual, I have even seen female dogs humping. It is a behaviour that u need to discourage, and over time he will stop, even though occasionally he may still hump other dogs in the park just to show his dominance. I do have 2 male unaltered dogs and they usually don't hump except when they r trying to prove dominance.
