It depends on breed traits and individual personality and aggression level of each dog personally.

it would probley depend, i know that a rott has a bigger bite pressure,

but the akita has a thich coat that might fend off the bites.

humm.. pftt this is a hard one.

but im gonna have to go with rotty, just because of the sheer muscle mass one has when in good physical shape =]

A territorial and dominating dog like an Akita will not tolerate another dominating and territorial male. If you had either breed, you would need one of either gender.

The Akita is unlikely to tolerate the Rottie. The Akita is very animal agressive and has been bred to fight and to hunt bears. I have had several Akitas and they will not hesitate to attack another dog, depending on the Akita.There will likely be a fight, and unfortunately this could lead to the death of one of the dogs. I know you are curious but please do not try this.
