Would anybody buy this2007-11-25 2:57:00

For a gifted project I have to make an invention. I have decided to make an umbrella for dogs. Do you think this is a good idea? Would you buy it if you were a pooch lover plz answer..

LOL, this is an interesting idea. I dont think that practicle people are going to buy this item, however when you see those people who have a different sweater for every day (for their dog) and a bathrobe and more toys than one dog can destroy in a life time you will find a market for these umbrellas. Remember... someone made alot of money on the pet rock! Good luck.

I wouldn't purchase it. Dogs have no problems with getting wet, and if they do, they already make ponchos for dogs. I think an umbrella on the dog, may end up freaking out the dogs, more than doing any good.

No, I wouldn't buy it. But I'm sure someone would. My dog loves to sun bathe. Plus if its for the rain, they make all kinds of rain coats for dogs. (Seriously) Which if I didn't buy those I wouldn't buy the umbrella. I think all that frills for dogs is just stupid!

I would not, but there are people out there that will buy anything for the pooches.

i would deffinitly buy that, for one i realy cant stand the smell of a wet dog, its jus nastey and second, then after u take him for him to do his business on a rainy day, he can come inside without dirtying it up, it might not be the most popular item on the market, but theres alwasy some people that would bye it (like me =])

I would buy it. If I lived somwhere where it rained all the time but I'm sure alot of people would buy it,,, you better make sure noone invented it already

I think there is already a doggy umbrella. What about folding portable food and water dishes.

It would depend on the design and how easy it was to use with a collar and leash or harness when a person is taking their dog out, as well as how well it worked and how it stayed on. I would never buy a rain coat for a dog, but I might consider an umbrella if I was rich and wanted to accessorize my dog and the design was appealing and easy to use.

I wouldn't buy one.. I teach my dogs by example that it's okay to be out in the rain.. Then when they come in, it's a great chance to wipe them all down and get off any dirt and loose hair.
