I have a petlys carrier. And i have a 6 month old yorkie girl. I love her to death, but when we go somewhere and she needs to be in the carrier (stores,malls) she starts whining and barking like crazy, is't not because she needs to go poo or pee. I guess she doesn't like being in the carrier, so when my nerves give up from her whining, i let her out, and she is very happy. I tried putting treats in the carrier, but she just looks at it and walks away (she ain't stupid, i'm telling you!) and she is crazy in love with those treats!!! Or she can just take the treat from the carrier and run away. uuuhhh. How can i make her stop whining when i place her in the carrier? It is really embarrasing, especially when i have to sneak her into places where fur babies don't belong!!! Please help, i don't want her to be alone at home all day!!! HELP!!!

Well first of all you really shouldn't be taking her to places that don't allow dogs in them. The only dogs that should be allowed in malls stores are seeing eye dogs for the blind. Otherwise if your takin her to a pet store that's fine. She should get use to be left at home and if needed crated. I know it's sad to leave her at home when doing things but there's no need to take her everywhere you go. She will be fine. If you want to take her places take her to a park or to the pet store for special occasions. But sneakin her in places where dogs don't belong that's not right and not fair to others that may be allergic to dogs or something like that. Plus it's nothing really but your fault if your embarrassed when she starts whining being in the crate while your out and about because she don't belong there in the first place think about it. I'm not trying to be rude just stating the truth. Plus you ever think that these places Dont allow dogs is because what if they go into stores and pee on stuff or would poop then what,that would be rude and in considerate of other shoppers. I love my dogs to but staying home is the best for them when we have to go places. If you wanna do something special with them and be with them take her for a walk when you get back or like i suggested above. You love your dog which is obvious.
