Does anyone have a Border Collie or did and what was your experience with her/him?? What kind of tricks did he/she know and how well did they do with other people??

I did not own a border collie, but I worked on a farm that had two. One day we were seperating the bull from the cows because the cows were having thier babies. Anyway, I some how ended up between the bull and the gate that we were closing. The bull started to charge. The border collie jumped between me and the bull and bit it on the nose. The bull turned away. That dog prolly saved my life. That's my favorite border collie exprience! She also could ride a horse behind the saddle on a special mat.

Great dogs. Very smart, with HIGH energy level. They are fun to play with because they are so fast moving, they are great with agility training.. (jumping through hoops ect. catching frisbees.. Great with people, though as puppies they can be quite the jumpers.. overall, I think they are terrific dogs

i have a border she loves people unless you wear a uniform esp a policeman she hates them due to past associations she loves children will play ball with them for hours mind you it helps i suppose that she cant eat a whole one so she plays with them instead her only other dislikes are buses lorries and any vehicle with air brakes and black labradors but i dont rightly know why as she was a rescue as for tricks the only thing she will do is give you her paw
