answers anyone
I am thinking of purchasing a Scottish Terrier. Are they a good breed? Do you or have you had one?
It would be a family pet & would stay indoors, except for a walk.
Do they do good with litter training? Does it work?
I had a yorkie once, and i tried to litter train him, and wouldnt even use it. He just stood there and then used it when he stepped out of the pan. It was very frustrating..
thanks =]
Answers:Hi i am joey c. sorry if my english is bad, that's becouse i am from the netherrlands.
a scottish terrier is a good breed, but they are a little hyper active. they just can't sit still for one minute. they're fun, but very bussy. my grandmother used to have one named puck. Litter training is pretty difficult with a scottish terrier. =] bye
any terrier is a bit high strung.and Litter train?They're dogs! Take them for walks or get a CAT!
It really is NOT natural for dogs to use litter! I know many people that failed at training the dogs to use it.
If you are needing a small breed that will be required to use it, think long and hard. From people I have known, the terriers were the hardest to train to the litter.
If you were foolish enough to try to LITTER -TRAIN a yorky(or ANY dog!-YUCK!),then you are **NOT* a scotty person!
NOT!
WRONG breed!!
Scots are WAY too smart & STRONG & independent for you!
