Do you have CLUE what TERRIER MEANS?

A dog bred for HUNDREDS of years to CONFRONT formidable quarry IN-GROUND! *NOT* be "cutsie wittle wap-doggies"!

You need a cat..or a hamster or a goldfish..preferably the goldfish so you can just flush the carcass.

PS: DANG RIGHT I don't "do" scotties! I *KNOW* them well enough to KNOW they are NOT what *I* like in a dog. I've JUDGED & HANDLED & GROOMED enough of em to KNOW that! NOT go by the latest "fad-doggie"!

&MILLIONS of people have dogs *&* work *&* STILL manage to HOUSEBREAK the dog so it DOESN"T PISS & SHI*T all over the place while they're gone!

I think you want a cat if you want a litter trained animal. A Scottish Terrier is not the dog for everyone. They are highly intelligent, stubborn, and determined as all terriers are. They need a very strong pack leader and consistent training or they can become problem dogs. Aggressiveness is not uncommon in Scotties. If you want a mellow smaller dog, consider a poodle.
I only know a couple of Scottish Terriers and two of the three are really not nice, very snappy. So I would definately recommend that you do your research on the breed and breeder. I only know one litter trained dog and she is a Pug. Good Luck.
