any suggestions on what type of dog to buy2007-11-25 2:57:39
we are buying a two bedroom house with a medium size garden not far from a nature reserve.. we want somthing that we can take for long walks, take of the lead but isnt to big for the house?
Answers:king charles spaniel, very mild mannered, not too bouncy cute cuddly small.
cross breed spaniel
don't get a terrier, often disappear chasing rabbits etc, take 6 hours to find etc
A border collie ive got one there very loyal and loving and they do sometimes have the urge to round things up but there still my favourite dogs , ur best getting one as a puppy and training him in ur own way
A Germansheperd
I would suggest you think of small to medium dog and if long walks are concerned then maybe a terrier breed as they go on forever. But where obedience off the lead is concerned I do not think you can beat the Sheepdog and they do not take up that much room indoors. If trained properly you will not go far wrong.
a welsh corgie!!
SO u want a small-medium sized dog
i suggest a Yorkie there small ,cute very playful and best of all they don't shed
there's also jack Russel or beagles
not to big and not to small
very playful
good luck =]
A beagle or a lab are great outdoor dogs & are very good around children & people
well buy a golden retever and name it Amber
Whatever dog suits you, but don't buy a dog for a birthday or Xmas, etc. They are for life!! They are not something to chuck away when you've had enough. They require a lot of time and effort!.
