i have two 5 month old female puppies. same litter. what are the signs that they are coming into season? we are getting them neutured when they have had a season.

They will be coming in season any day now..It is by far more beneficial to have them spayed before they have their first 'heat'. this greatly reduces the risk of mammory tumors that develop later..

Plus, the 'heat' season is SO stressfull for them, and YOU..

You will see little droplets of blood on your floor, and their little downstairs department will be quite swollen. Females in season also tend to get mood swings. Please get them dressed as soon as possible, undressed bitches are susceptible to womb infections which can be fatal, and also phantom pregnancies which are a nightmare. Take that from someone who knows lol.

First off, female puppies are SPAYED not nuetered.

If they are in season, their vulva will swell and they will start bleeding. I would recommend just spaying them at 6 months and be done with it.
