are there any organizations or something that will help pay for my pet surgery2007-11-25 2:58:33

my dog needs a c-section or her and the pups can die and the vet said the pups will if i dont get her one, is there any help for me? she is an austrlian shepherd and its 1200.00 what should i do? i tried a loan but i have no credit cause im only 19 and i cant get a credit card either.

if anyone knows of anything please let me know asap

If you have to surrender the dog and her pups to the Vet. You will not get them back. Pawn something, beg plead and borrow. Up here, we have a roscoe fund that helps pay. Ask you vet if you can start with an oxytocin injection. Contact all kennel clubs, rescue organizations, and deffinately the ASPCA. Call several Vets, ask if you can do a held check for a later date, try every avenue. If all else fails, surrender the dog.

contact the local ASPCA. they usually have free services for people that cant afford it. especially if your treating your animal well.

See if you have a local SPCA near you or Animal Control. Any of those types of places should be able to help you. I can't believe your vet won't work out a payment schedule with you! Good luck and I hope you find the help you need.

Call every vet within a hundred miles..You can travel a bit to save her life..Call your local shelter in the morning..Apply for this card..you may just qualify, if you have any steady source of income> I would first try for the Care Credit card.. It is no-interest card to be used for veterinary care, and it allows up to 18 months to repay.. all of the vets in my state accept this card..
