i asked this same ?? about three months ago.has anything changed.

My sister has 2. Both are very sweet (and VERY large)! I am leery of ANY adult dog that I am not familiar with.

Im not. I have one and my brotther has two. im only afraid of them if the are walking around without a leash, or an owner

why would you be scared of pits? I have 3 of them and they are all in my house full grown and they are all like 3 big teddy bears. they are my babies.

I am not afraid of any breed, I am afraid of SOME of the people whom own them, raise them, and breed them. I am afraid of what small minded people, the media, and a few bad owners are doing to an entire breed.

I am not afraid of pit bulls I own one and she just had nine purebred pit bull pups seven weeks ago. My female is the sweetest and well manured dog that I know. Also I have friends and family that own pit bulls as well. PUNISH THE DEED NOT THE BREED!!

They can be very sweet dogs. No I'm not afraid of them, the ones I am afraid of are the stupid people that train them to be mean. Those people are the vicious ones not the animal.

nope .not afraid of pit bulls.just afraid of some of the ignorant owners who don't know how to handle the breed. and can otherwise turn a smart intelligent animal into a fighting machine for the only purpose of god knows what!

I am, a few weeks ago 2 pitbulls jumped a fence and tried to attack me and my Shih Tzu and 2 kids playing by their yard, I had to go to a neighbors house so they wouldn't hurt my dog. Once I got home I called animal control.

I have two and I have never been afraid of either one of them nor have my children! now ankle biters are a different story! lol

Personally, I like Pit Bulls. I like Dobermans, I like Rotts. It's how you raise them. Even a 'calm' breed can tear your throat out if you want to teach them that way. I have two children. When my son was a baby, we lived with several different pits. they were all awesome with him. Never had to worry.
