can anyone tell me how to train a puppy2007-11-25 2:59:28

she won't go to the toilet anywhere but in the hall where we have sheets down for her ,i've tried moving them but she still goes in the hall,i think it's in her head now that this is her toilet and i want to get her out of this habit,also she is hyper in the mornings and keeps biting my feet and the ends of my trousers and whining,any tips?

Maybe shes biting to say hey i wanna go outside an pee lol..puppies shoud be taken out often and especially directly after food or drink, generally sooner or later they catch on. As for the biting a firm no and push away or a spray water bottle give her a quick squirt again with the firm no.

One thing you can do with the going in the hall is when she does hit her once with a rolled up newspaper and tell her bad dog. When she goes outside and goes reward her with a treat when she comes in. About the hyper in the morning play with her when you get off work or whatever and wear her out. What kind of dog is she/ If she is a lab they will be hyper as puppies.

you have to get rid of the smell of urine in the hall, you cant smell it but she can, bleach it. when she goes to pee there make a loud noise, shout or clap or both, then put her outside, when she wees make a huge fuss, good girl!.

take it to a dog training school! or you can get very helpful books that gave great methods that actually work! try your local book store

She's just being a puppy. When she goes to go in the hall, pick her up and put her where you want her to go. It will take a while, but she'll get used to it.
