Knighthood is done by the British monarchy in response to outstanding service or talent. You'll have to work hard to make a case for your bulldog to be knighted. How does he compare to Sir Paul McCartney? Sir Winston Churchill? Sir Alec Guiness? Sir Elton John?

You might have better luck getting him the animal service award. Britain has one that has been awarded to 27 dogs over the years. One worked at the WTC after September 11th.
