If someone answered in a 'knoweledgable' manner that the proper dose for a dog that size would be 2 capsules every 2 hours..would you do it?

Why are you asking for medical advice in a forum of anonymous people, where you can't verify anyone's medical training or credentials? You also have no recourse if something bad happens to your dog as a result of that advice.

Just about every day, I have to *fix* a problem CAUSED by a pet owner following the advice of something they read on the Internet. Please don't do that to your dog. (Some of those problems can't be fixed, btw.)

Your DVM is the only person who can tell you the dose for YOUR dog. Even *I* can't. I can post the basic canine dose for that drug, which IS very safe..but I don't know your dog's health status. It can occasionally cause harm.

Please call your dog's doctor for any medical recommendations you need for him.

It's frightening how much downright wrong information it contains in places, as well as incomplete information in others.which is every bit as dangerous. :-/
