can i pull my dogs baby tooth
2 of his adult teeth grew in behind his baby teeth. should i pull the baby teeth, let them work themselves out or take him to the vet? i've never had this happen to a dog before.
Answers:Please don't pull those teeth. It would be a very painful thing to do to your dog. If adult teeth have already grown in and the baby teeth are still there you need to take your dog to a vet. Those extra teeth could cause a misalignment of his jaw and affect his ability to eat. Some vets run specials on certain months just for the purpose of encouraging owners to keep their pets teeth healthy. Ask your vet . Usually there is a flat fee for cleaning and a set price for each tooth pulled. A dog can get infections in there mouths from trapped food, plack and even hair trapped below the gum line, which can cause other health problems. Pets can't tell you they need help, but if you love your dog do the best thing for him and let a professional help him.
let itdrop out by it self ,try a small bone to help it, if you not sure let thevet take it out ,but i think he will just spit it out sooner rather than later
Take him to the vet. You should never pull your dog's tooth, you really don't want to be assocaited with pain and your dog. Not to mention if it does hurt, risking getting bitten very hard!
The teeth usually come out by themselves. The only way I can think of helping it is to give your dog lots of different things to chew on , this should help the baby tooth out.
i'd let them fall out naturally if possible, but if they start causing him pain, always consult your vet.
I dont think the tooth fairy comes for dogs, but you can try.
well you should just let them come out by themselves unless you see a loss in weight, loss in appetite, excessive barking, no rough housing/ playing or the dog trying to scratch the side of face with the baby teeth. ( sounds weird but my dog does it)
