Once you kill them by bathing him, use Frontline - you can get it at 800-petmeds.

Depends on whether you want to get rid of them, eggs and all or just the live ones.

Really, go to a vet get some revolution or similar anti-flea med and GET RID of the parasites!

Fleas itch and BREED. You may be able to kill the flea but the eggs are still there and in no time you will have more fleas, laying more eggs.. etc. And they do transfer into your house.. so.

Good luck with the de-flea job.

Get a flea collar. I'm not sure what it is, but i heard it gets rid of fleas real good. I believe there are lots of flea sprays too. Sadly, sorry, no home remedies.

A flea collar. The thing with fleas is that you have to get them throughout their life cycle in order to totally eradicate them.

That means spraying or cleaning everything the dog uses. Microwaving material for a minute or two will kill the fleas and their eggs.

If the dog has access to your yard, you might want to spray the yard for fleas as well.

use either advantage or frontline you can get it from the vet. please don't use the cheap stuff from the department store it really messes up your dog or cat.

Dawn dish liquid on a dry dog, get a thick coat of it. Wait about 5 minutes before rinsing, watch the fleas suffocate & die. Rinse, dog shampoo, conditioner, rinse again, use a flea comb & dry. Apply ADVANTAGE ONLY! "FRONTLINE" does NOT work! I have tried it a few times & always had to get Advantage. The vet blames me, the co. blames the vet & no one will offer a refund or even a replacement.
