No, and even those panties they sell to keep her from bleeding all over your house won't stop a male from getting her pregnant. If you want to be sure she won't be bred, have her spayed. immediately.

If you are waiting to breed her at some other time and you know what you are doing (which seems doubtful) keep her in a safe room indoors away from male dogs. although, even THAT doesn't protect her. I have known males to break though glass sliding doors and chew through wooden ones to get to a female in heat.

So, bottom line.. spay your dog.

They sell special little panties for female dogs that are supposed to protect them from males and they have little pads in them so that they wont bleed all over the place. Where they sell them at I really dont exactly know but I would think at any pet store where they carry things for dogs. Get her fixed and save your self some headaches.

For the health and safety of your poor dog, get her spayed. As others mentioned, it decreases the risks of cancer tremendously. Those sanitary pants they make for dos will NOT stop a male from getting her pregnant. Male dogs will do anything to get to a dog in heat.
