Sure, it can be, but it shouldn't be. If your dog is cut and it's not bad, try to clean it out with some water and leave it to heal. If it's bad enough where it's seriously bleeding or there is open or raw skin, take your dog to the vet. Hydrogen Peroxide kills not just bad bacteria, but also healthy skin cells. If you are unsure about what to do with an injury, call a vet. There should be a vet *somewhere * that's open at this hour on a Sunday night.

Peroxide should NEVER be used to clean wounds. Good grief! It not only doesn't disinfect anything, it is actually harmful to the denuded tissue on a cellular level and actually CAUSES a deeper infection by pushing the bacteria further into the wound when it fizzes.something which has been proven over and over again, so it baffles me why so many people are uninformed about that. (Same thing in humans..and knowledgeable nurses know that. MDs don't recommend it, either.)

I was just told by my vet saturday to clean a scab on my dogs belly with peroxide and put antibiotic cream on it. So, yes you can use it on dogs but i would let them get it in their mouths. Good Luck.

no, you can't perxide can damage your dogs tissue, you can go to any pet shop or even local store and find a dog bass one, for the same price that peroxide !

Yes.My vet uses it all the time,and so do I ,and so does my cousin,who's a dog groomer and former breeder.But for ugly wounds that look like they might get infected,it's best to use Betadine solution to clean them.
