I have seen many very nice pit bulls, but have seen too many that are not.I will never trust another..

We had a dog who was part pit and part lab. Sweetest dog youd ever meet. Except if you were a stranger and didnt let us the owners come in first.she ended up lunging at a 6 year old because the 6 year old tried to get in the house before my daughter.the dog went right for the girls throat. My husband pulled her back and pulled her into the bedroom while she was still in attack mode.No not all pits are the same alot has to do with their breeding and how you raise them.We got ours from a shelter so we didnt get to meet the parents.

Pit Bulls are not bred for human aggression. When dog fighting was legal breeders would cull a human aggressive Pit.Yes Pits are dog aggressive ,some more then others. I've owned 5 Pitties in total ,4 females and one male. Not once has any of my dogs ever showed a ounce of human aggression.Dog aggression yes. One is off the hoof with dog aggression.She loves people and kids.If you see a humn aggressive Pitty ,that dog showing any signs ,the dog should be humanely pts.Some dogs are born bad ,there's no doubt about that.A Pitty all of a sudden doesn't go crazy .The dog is showing signs of human aggression that people choose to ignore.Again euthanize the dog.I'm very sorry about your daughter .Really. I know enough about APBT to say what I believe in.I think 20 years of ownership proves something.Not one human aggressive dog ,ever.

I can understand chetcos reasoning and i can understand his lack of trust in pits as if it was my child a pit did this to i would definately feel the same way. CHETCO I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER AND I CAN RELATE TO WHY YOU DO NOT TRUST THESE DOGS.
